SHOWBIZ & A. G. : Soul Clap ep (Show Biz SB-456) Rare original pressing 12" EP...Side 1 = Soul Clap, Soul Clap(inst), A Giant In the Mental, A Giant in the Mental (inst) SIDE 2 = Party Groove, Diggin' In The Crates, It's Up To You .......Matrix = SB 456 A CSB / + 2 musical notes / FW  (bootleg omits the 2 musical notes), Pressing ring is large and close to the outside edge of label (bootleg is smaller ring, closer to spindle hole),  and  there is the period(dot) after A and G (bootleg leaves out the period after G)...Had to use the flash on the second scan of the matrix which makes the label look washed out...
FROM THE NET IS HOW TO TELL THE DIFFERENCE FROM ORIG. TO BOOT
1) The red is more 'orange' on the OG label, compared to the pinker hue of the repress..
2) The contours under the label are completely different. The original pressing has a sharp 'ring' close to the outside, but the repress has much 'softer' ridges - and a main circle close to the centre. Check the images below.
3) The infamous 'musical notes' on the original press are missing from the repress. On the original, you get 'SB 456 A' (or 'SB 456 B') and the 'CSB' signature followed by two musical notes - and the 'F/W' mark. The repress only has 'SB-456-A' (or 'B').
4) A quick and easy way to tell without checking out runouts? Sure. Check the text on the label. The original press has 'Showbiz & A.G.' - but the repress misses out the period after 'A.G.'
DISC IS CLEAN, LIKE NEAR MINT EXCEPT FOR 3RD TRACK SIDE 1 "A Giant in the Mental" which has a weird diagonal scratch/scuff through the track which clicks loudly only on theat track.......all other tracks, and all of side 2 look and play M-...  ..plain white disco sleeve ....NO RESERVE!!.......SEE MY OTHER AUCTIONS FOR MORE SOUL FUNK LATIN MOD DISCO MODERN FUNKY HIP HOP 12" BOOGIE ELECTRO GANGSTA GANGSTER  RAP AVANT PRIVATE LP'S..................
