1974 first pressing (( Original vinyl release)) of a sometimes forgotten gem ...stick it on, close your eyes and get swept up by a tidal wave of Hendrixy guitar webs, thick bottom heavy rhythms and a voice to die for....
Many forget the powers with, dynamic powers ~~ This is a truly remarkable record, showcasing Trower's Hendrixian guitar mastery (of course), as well as his songwriting skills. Don't miss out by ignorantly dismissing Bridge of Sighs as a "player album". The ballad "In This Place" would fit in comfortably on an early FUNKADELIC album, while "About to Begin" might quite possibly feature the most beautiful melody ever written. This is one of those rare albums that is suitable for plugging in and learning the tunes, or kicking back in a cloud of freshly exhaled ganja smoke. Strike while the iron's hot, folks. This original pressing ain't the easiest slab of wax to find *still in shrink wrapper* these days. At least at any reasonable price.
