Description
Mercury Living Presence colorback stereo LP SR-90204, Paul Paray conducts Sibelius' second symphony more, with the Detroit Symphony. FR2/RFR1 pressing. Absolutely beautiful sound; one of the greatest sounding classical recordings ever. This pressing is beautiful and shiny, mostly, but has some marks and small scuffs. It plays perfectly most of the time but has a little crackling here and there, mostly drowned out by the music. I listened to it all the way through (hard to turn it off once it starts) and was not disturbed or distracted by the occasionally noticeable light tick. Not absolutely perfect but really nice. The cover is excellent, with the only real flaw being a small corner tear at the top left on the back. Minor. All in all a very nice copy.
