Description

Up for sale is a SIGNED copy of a 12 inch-single from Fleetwood Mac with all five members from the band at the time, Stevie Nicks, Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Christine McVie and Lyndsey Buckingham. This LP comes from the collection of Bert Padell, Yankees Batboy and Hollywood accountant, who died in 2018 leaving a wealth of signed artifacts from his clients. It includes “Oh Diane,” “Only Over You” and “The Chain.” It was released for the LP Mirage.

There is no Certificate of Authenticity, but the signatures are unmistakable. The single is in VG+ condition with the vinyl VG+ as well. Bert was known for his being a collector and not an investor, and so this LP was indeed played, gently. As a light-colored cover, it is very clean and has no ring wear. There is a promo sticker that says, “Limited Edition.”

With a Certificate of Authenticity, this LP with all five band members signatures would be worth far more. The lack of a paper trail in terms of the LP’s provenance accounts for its reasonable starting and Buy It Now pricing.

This was signed specifically for Bert Padell and not, as many LPs are, at a record convention or at a later time. This is the real deal with a history.
