Description

This is the original deep-groove pressing of Max Roach “Quartet” on 10” Debut DLP 13. The playing surface is in excellent condition, with a nice luster. Occasional tics, but the sound quality is clear and crisp with no distortion. The cover is clean throughout; ¾” tape reinforcements at the corners, but no splits - mostly, the tape adhesive residue remains; sun-bleached spine; small writing at the top of the back slick. The back is signed “Best Always, Walter Davis piano ‘77”. Personnel include Hank Mobley, Walter Davis II, and Franklin Skeete. WE NOW ACCEPT PAYPAL.
