 Autographed PHIL OCHS LP.

This is a copy of Phil's great "I Ain't Marchin' Anymore" LP, signed boldly on the back in red marker. Looks to me, from the odd angle, that Phil may have been signing with his hands full on the way out the door or something!

I purchased this on eBay 10 years ago from a dealer who had acquired a giant collection of signed albums and photos from the estate of an East Coast nightclub owner. I was told that this guy would have all the artists who performed at his club sign stuff for him. I think the club was in Virginia or Pennsylvania--I just can't remember. Sorry I do not have more details, but from looking at the rest of the collection of stuff, which was up on eBay at the same time, it appeared that a lot of folkies played his club. I believed it to be an authentic autograph then, and still do.

The cover is in decent condition, but the record itself is in not, not that it matters all that much with a display piece like this. Someone somewhere along the way has (stupidly) used Liquid Paper to get rid of a name and address that was written on the back cover in the same red marker.
