Description
PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
INSANELY RARE original privately pressed spiritual free jazz from 1984 on the tiny little Reality Unit Concepts label, who managed a grand total of two LPs in their short lifespan!!! What makes this copy particularly rare is that it has been SIGNED AND INSCRIBED on the front cover by Hooker to someone named Jimmy in bold, beautifully legible black marker!!! LP side B is VG/VG- with a few small scratches at the start that can be lightly felt and side A is a very nice VG+ with a few light paper scuffs. Cover has no splits and a very light stain at the bottom that is mostly visible in the lower left hand corner on the rear. Exceedingly rare. Only four of these have come up for auction in the last nine years according to Popsike and a signed copy has NEVER surfaced so don't sleep jazz collectors. This is most likely a once in a lifetime opportunity.
I USE GOLDMINE GRADING~ MINT (SEALED) NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++: VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF USE VG+: AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG: STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS
GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR: FILLER COPY ONLY. LOTS OF SCRATCHES
