PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
MEGA RARE original first pressing on Manhattan Records from 1986 with glossy full color printed inner sleeve!!! LP is a gorgeous VG++/NM-. Cover is VG/VG+ with some light ring. Auction also includes not one, but two ULTRA RARE rigid two-sided in-store promotional displays put out by Manhattan Records in 1986 with the album cover image on the rear!!! I bought these from a former Tower Records manager here in Chicago some time in the mid-2000s who was a fan of the Sputniks and decided to save a pair of these displays from the Tower wall for her own private collection (which was staggeringly impressive). She told me that 99% of these displays were tossed after they were displayed or never displayed at all and then tossed. Tower staff saw them as disposable swag and clutter and as a result VERY few survived from the 1980s so don't sleep. You won't see another lot like this again. Thankfully she was careful removing them as they have NO staple holes, peel spots from tape, rips or tears whatsoever. One display has a small crease in the bottom left hand corner and that's it. Simply impossible to find in this condition.

VG+: AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG: STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS
GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR: FILLER COPY ONLY. LOTS OF SCRATCHES
