NEW LOWER PRICE - NO NEED TO WATCH, GRAB IT!!  This is a 1982 3 LP SET (Two picture disc LPs and one white vinyl LP) titled 'Silver Beatles', containing ten tracks of the 1962 Decca label audition material material from The Beatles on one of the picture discs and the white vinyl LP, and a 1982 interview with original Beatles drummer Pete Best on the second picture disc LP.  It is Backstage Records U.S. catalog number BSR 1111.

This 3-disc package was the first time the Beatles Decca audition tapes were "officially" released in the US to retail stores in May 1982. It was the launch of this new label at the time, Backstage Records.

Discs 1 and 2 both contain 10 of the Decca audition tracks. (the same tracks on both discs).

Discs 1 and 3 are picture discs, disc 2 is white vinyl.

Disc 3 contains an interview with Pete Best, done by radio personality Jim Ladd ("Inner-View") on side 5, and excerpts from various Beatles press conferences from 1964-65 on side 6.

Issued in a gatefold, die-cut sleeve. Discs 1 & 2 were in pocket 1, disc 3 in the second pocket. Inside are several Pete Best-era photos.

Condition of all three records is a SOLID NM with no visible surface marks.  The white vinyl LP has a very slight slow storage warp which has absolutely no effect on play, and also has a couple of small brown streaks in the white vinyl on one side, this is cosmetic only and also has absolutely no effect on play.  Die-cut gatefold cover has a couple of worn spots around the die-cut center hole on the back side of the cover, some contact wear, and some wear along the edges and on the corners.  This 3 LP set would be a choice addition to any Beatles record collection!  Media mail postage within the U.S. is $4.00.  I WILL SHIP WORLDWIDE - REGISTERED WITH SIGNATURE DELIVERY FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL AIRMAIL POSTAGE TO AREAS OUTSIDE THE U.S EXCEPT FOR CANADA (37.45) IS $47.95 - YES IT'S CRAZY, THIS IS THE U.S. POSTAL SERVICE AS OF 1/27, NOT ME!!!  BUYER PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH - IT PROBABLY WILL NOT GET HERE!
