Sailing On Fantasies LP - SILVER LAUGHTER (Fanfare 4070)
Original 1978 U.S. PROMO stereo LP. FINE private lo-fi retro pop-psych album by this Midwest quartet, one of 2 albums they unleashed. With it's strong mid-to-late '60s UK vibe, it sounds like it would have been right at home if released a decade earlier. Vinyl in sweeeet condition, plays mostly SUPER (see below). Includes original lyric/credit inner paper sleeve (with slight split in the middle of both side edges, some crinkling & small tear on top edge).
Disc = EX- (glossy - downgraded due to 2 tiny nicks on side 1; 1 at the beginning of track 2 + another shortly after the start of track 3 - both cause about 2 or 3 revolutions of lite background pops; also, lite scuffing on side 2, NOT AFFECTING PLAY AT ALL - probably from not being stored correctly, NOT from excessive play, I'm pretty certain; otherwise, other than those fewlite clicks on side 1, disc sounds GREAT, w/ NO distortion & virtually NO background noise to speak of)
Cover = see pix; record company promotional sticker on front; just barely the start of a seam split on top edge; slight wear & tiny cracking on top edge; tiny chip & wear on bottom edge; some cracking on spine; any questions?, please ask
