Description

This is an absolutely beautiful original 1970 copy of the all-time Simon & Garfunkel classic LP, Bridge Over Troubled Water, on Columbia KCS-9914. Original 2-Eye labels, only on the original pressing. The difference in sound between the first pressing and all subsequent pressings (standard ones) is almost unbelievable. These first pressings sound like dripping honey. Just beautiful, full, present sound. And this copy is absolutely gorgeous. Almost perfectly mint, it plays just about flawlessly and beautifully. The cover has only light wear, with small creases on the back at the spine edge, and a little edge wear on the the open edge, where there is a 3/4" tear in the center. Very small and hardly noticeable. Really this is a top, top original copy. One of the best I have heard in ages. Hard to beat.
