Limited vinyl LP repressing includes replica movie poster. Reissue of the soundtrack to the legendary 1952 musical comedy. #1 on AFI's Greatest Movie Musicals of all time. Features songs performed by film stars Gene Kelly, Debbie Reynolds and Donald O'Connor including the classic title track "Singin' In The Rain." Singin' in the Rain offers a lighthearted depiction of Hollywood in the late '20s, with the three stars portraying performers caught up in the transition from silent films to "talkies." The film was only a modest hit when first released, with only O'Connor's Best Comedy or Musical Lead Actor win at the Golden Globes, Betty Comden and Adolph Green's win for their screenplay at the Writers Guild of America Awards, and the best supporting actress Oscar nomination for Jean Hagen being the major recognitions. However, it was accorded it's legendary status by contemporary critics. It is now frequently regarded as one of the best musicals ever made, and the best film ever made in the "Arthur Freed Unit" at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. It topped the AFI's 100 Years of Musicals list, and is ranked as the fifth greatest American motion picture of all time in it's updated list of the greatest American films in 2007.

We strongly recommend that you check your DVD player's Region code before purchasing as we are unable to refund purchases for incompatibility. Your DVD instructions manual should include the Region information for your DVD player. Alternatively if you email us your DVD player make & model, we will endeavour to find out for you.     

 

Payment is required within 7 days of purchase. If for any reason you are unable to pay within 7 days, please contact us prior to bidding/buying. We are flexible with our payment terms for people who contact us first.    We accept the following payment methods:  PAYPAL, BANK DEPOSIT, MONEY ORDER & CASH ON PICKUP.

All items are shipped through Australia Post.  

For domestic deliveries within Australia we offer Regular, Express & Registered services.  We strongly recommend Express or Registered post as they can be tracked online through the Australia Post tracking website.  

International deliveries are sent through Australia Post Regular Airmail.  This service does not include a tracking number.  For security and peace of mind, we strongly recommend that our international customers register their orders.  For a fee of $8.50, the package is insured and also trackable.  

We offer combined shipping on multiple orders.  If you purchase several items from our store, please request a combined invoice prior to making payment.
