Description
This is a very rare excellent US stereo copy of the debut LP by Sir Lord Baltimore, Kingdom Come, released by Mercury Records in 1970, a heavy psych classic that is in great demand.
As to grading, I grade very conservatively following Goldmine Record grading standard. Except that for records that are a notch below near mint, rather than VG ++, I prefer to use grade of Excellent. I do not use VG++ grade in addition to Excellent grade as is done by some.
The LP is in excellent condition with only a small shadow on Side 2 keeping it from being graded near mint. The LP was tested through headphones after manual cleaning and plays very quietly. As the LP was tested several weeks before listing it should, of course, be cleaned again before play. The gatefold cover is in very good condition. The corners on all sides are very slightly worn. The top seam and bottom seams are strong with only minor rub wear/loss of color and no splits on either seam. The spine is strong as well. The front and back covers are very nice with excellent color, although there is some wear as well creases visible. There is a small cut out hole on near the bottom spine.
The LP is being sold without reserve and payment is expected within 3 days of auction close. Return of the LP will only be accepted if the same LP sold and shipped is returned in the same condition .Buyers that behave in a less than ethical manner will be reported and blocked from participation in future auctions. The LP will be separated from the cover when shipped to prevent seam splitting.
If you bid on and win more than one item shipping for multiple purchases will be adjusted. If you win more than one item do not pay until I have had the opportunity to issue new invoice to reflect combined lower shipping cost. Shipping for one item is $4 and includes tracking
I only ship to Paypal confirmed addresses in the United States. Thanks for looking.
Save me as a seller as I have several sealed rare 1960's and 1970's rock, soul, blues and jazz LPs that will be auctioned. I am also starting to auction open and very clean MFSL and other audiophile pressings (Nautilus Superdisc, Direct Disk, Quiex, Columbia Mastersound, and Japanese pressings including number of originals), as well as promos. I will ultimately be auctioning almost 6500 rare and very clean LP albums
