Recorded in 1973 by Australian nun Sister Irene O'Connor, this offering remains one of the most extraordinary devotional records ever made - an unintentional masterpiece of lo-fi mysticism. Written and performed by O'Connor, with fellow nun Sister Marimil Lobregat on production and engineering, its mix of drum machine rhythms, layered organs and airy harmonies feels both sacred and avant-garde. Songs like 'Fire (Luke 12:49)' and 'Light (John 8:12)' shimmer with a strange intimacy, their simplicity revealing a radiant sense of faith and solitude. Half hymn, half cosmic folk vision, this long-lost Australian recording finds transcendence in tape hiss and reverberant space - a holy relic reborn.
