Description
Every Tuesday between 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm (European Time) I will offer old Punk and Powerpop records at www.eBay.de
Original first UK pressing, issued on ‘Merciful Release’ in 1982. Early label release (catalogue number CNT 002). Here it is, the second and definitely punkiest 7” release by SISTERS OF MERCY. The same sold on eBay, in May 2009, for £197 (UK)....and in November, for 233 Euro (not $$$). The starter ‘Body Electric’ is p-e-r-f-e-c-t guitar riff punk, topped with real power and excellent melodies. As you know, early S.o.M. records usually show a strong gloomy dark Gothic influenced rainy-day/JOY DIVISION/go-for-suicide atmosphere but this single is without a doubt a must-have for all punk lovers & punk fascists. The brilliant B-sider ‘Adrenochrome’ was born with superb guitar grind riffs and fantastic lyrics. It’s a perfect punk piece from 1982....and really hard to find.
Condition / Zustand: sleeve (see scan) and vinyl are used but plays without any problem
