This is a genuine, original example of the Sisters of Mercy second single from 1981 and it is in superb condition, with vinyl which looks like it has hardly ever (or never) been played.

The run outs are etched 'BILBO TAPE ONE', 'FOR SPIGGY' and 'RISE AND REVERBERATE'.

Detailed description

Vinyl: The vinyl looks superb and has retained its original high sheen with barely a mark to be seen. It has clearly been very well cared-for and hardly ever played. Under a bright light just a handful of fine, wispy hairlines/sleeve removal marks were visible, but there is nothing significant anywhere. I have played both sides and it sounds fantastic with nothing to report. I would have no hesitation to play-grade both sides as Near Mint (NM)

Labels: Lovely clean labels with no blemishes and no spindle marking, suggesting that the record was hardly ever (or never) played.

Sleeve: A well-above-average example, this has no splits or tears, just some typical signs of age and use (some wear/creasing at the opening, storage wear to the corners, some slight surface marks/scuffs, a few fine creases around the edges etc) but there's nothing bad anywhere.

Detracting features not covered above:  None. This is a really nice example, with vinyl that would be hard to improve on.
