This is a MINT copy of Sixtoo's Super Limited Edition LP "Duration" Check out the silver foil print... just a beautiful thing.   He signed it at a show in New York City about 2 years ago. I have to get some money together, so it can be yours.   It is NOT signed to me. Just Sixtoo & 1200 Hobos & Sebutones & HW Crew and some other drawing and stuff.... Win BOTH and I will ship together!!! **   About the music:   After a year-and-a-half quiet period from Sixtoo release-wise, and his recent disappearance online, the sudden release of Duration is a welcome return for the multi-talented maestro of dark lo-fi hiphop. The album sees Sixtoo concentrate once more on his production skills. Those who are familiar with his past instrumental work, The Secrets That Houses Keep 10" (which is included on the end of this release), will know approximately what to expect. Duration retains some of the acoustic feel of Secrets..., mainly because actual drums and bass guitar were used rather than the usual synths and drum-machines. However, whereas Secrets That Houses Keep sounded laid-back and faintly optimistic, Duration is noticeably more introverted. Sixtoo's sleeve notes for this release go from explaining the concept behind the Duration project to a self-confession of sorts, reflective and melancholy. The music definitely reflects Sixtoo's mood.   Duration itself is a 40 minute instrumental piece, split up into 16 tracks. It consists of many sections of music, stray snippets of beats, scratches, obscure film samples and noise from the public spaces in which each track was re-recorded. The conceptual nature of the project ties in with Sixtoo's street art, which he hastens to add is 'neither graffiti nor art'. In its 40 minutes of winding, complex audio, Duration travels between bassline dominance, complicated live drumming, downbeat funk, Eastern sitar-fueled breaks, nu-skool jazz (creaping sax solos et al), and even closes with indie-pop acoustic guitar on the final section.   Fans of DJ Shadow's Endtroducing will love this record. Some of the productions here, along but with vocals by Sixtoo himself surfaced online a few months back, in the form of the Winter Breakup and Glass Floors mp3s. Those tracks had some amazing lyrical content, but somehow, through the various obscure samples from films and just through the mood and feel of the instrumentals, Sixtoo manages to convey his message without vocals.

Worldwide = $ 18 Registered AirMail (with tracking- guaranteed) -OR- $ 12 AirMail (at your own risk).

Will ship well packaged, watertight and with delivery confirmation is you live in the US. Otherwise it's UPS to Canada and Registered Ail Mail with insurance to the rest of the world. I will simply Air Mail it without tracking ability, but that's at your own risk.

USA shipments always have tracking and everything has been at 100% for as long as I can remember. Shipping out of New York City means that you will get your package FASTER too!

The dollar is so low now that you might as well pay a little more for shipping and get your item FASTER and it's also GUARANTEED! Otherwise, regular AirMail is at your own risk of loss, as it's not trackable.
