Description
According to a high end reggae collecting friend of mine, these two instrumentals are almost certainly by the Skatalites, however he couldnt identify the tracks. The acetate is used but plays through with one skip on my deck and none on my friends! The sound is generally very strong and upfront .Having just spoken on the phone to another serious guy, he is suggesting that It may actually be the Carribeats, (he commented on the bits of organ that are prominent on their 45s). He dates the style and sound circa 1967 . If commercially released in the UK, the price Im asking may be high, but if they are unissued or different in any way then the asking price will stick. If you're a serious collector with good feedback, Im happy to play this over the phone. Its guaranteed. Many thanks!
