SKIP BIFFERTY On Love b/w Cover Girl (RCA Victor 1621) RARE UK 1st Pressing MINT-
Very RARE UK first pressing of the Skip Bifferty single "On Love" b/w "Cover Girl" on RCA Records (August 1967).
One of the great British psychedelic singles of the sixties, by a group that in a manner similar to July, Tomorrow or Blossom Toes unjustly languished in the shadow of The Beatles. Like the latter, Skip Bifferty opted for a cheerfully British variant of psych-pop and their music, especially on the album Skip Bifferty was rich in detail and well-produced. At its core however, this was a ballsy, hard-playing band with a solid, feedback-drenched base in rock 'n' roll.
