Dirty/Heavy Dubstep/Trap/Grime Track 1. Yo Yan Track 2. Someone Said Track 3. Kora
Always keeping us on our toes, the mainstream-baiting maverick and forever divisive Skrillex takes his surprise leftfield EP 'Kora' released earlier this year and stamps it down on wax with a cool booklet to boot. If you're not yet acquainted with this particular dispatch, it's one of us most unusual and you're in for a treat; 'Yo Yan' plays a really interesting game with harmonics, humanised textures and a beautiful late entering acoustic guitar pattern; 'Someone Said' takes us deeper into Sonny's dreams with a near beatless trip into fluorescent pasters, all chops and twisted elements; 'Kora' closes with a cinematic blast through the FM dial on a radio in a game that you've never played but already known inside out. He thinks he's Andy Warhol, we just think he's pretty cool.
