The best metal album ever. It's true. This sweet slap o' wax is the original 1986 Def Jam issue of the masterpiece REIGN IN BLOOD by SLAYER. It's from my own collection so I can honestly evaluate it's condition. I am only selling this because I just purchased the Vinyl Conflict box, so I'm letting this one go.
This is truly the ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING on Def Jam Recordings 1986.
This has the coveted 'LOOP TRACK' at the end of Raining Blood. When the song ends, you hear thunder crack, then the creepy sound of blood raining down plays continuously until you lift the needle. It's sweet, and is not on any reissues!!!!
Cover condition: VG++ conservatively graded. This is in great shape. No splits or major bends/folds scratches etc. There is signs of normal wear. Spine shows some wear, very little ringwear. Larry Carroll's cover art looks amazing here. Nice dark printing, no fading.
Vinyl condition: VG++ conservatively graded. Plays great. Like I mentioned earlier, this is from my own stacks, and it's one I play often. No skips, no scrapes, no scuffs. slight signs of wear, nothing major.
Original lyric sleeve included!!! One side has the original Def Jam Recordings logo printed in red. The reverse side has the lyrics, also in red. The seams of the paper sleeve has started to tear slightly, but it's still in great shape. No folds or writing of any kind.
