Description

Up for auction is the 1990 full-length vinyl record "Seasons in the Abyss" by Slayer. It is the original LP, pressed by Def American Recordings.

Goldmine grading standard: Good or Fair
Record has light surface scratches on both sides that do not affect successful playback other than surface noise, with the exception of a material spot on side A that skips around song 1 or 2. Spot may possibly be removable with cleaner, but for the purpose of this auction, consider the side negatively and permanently affected.

Jacket lightly worn but striking and sturdy. Inner sleeve original, with lyrics on one side and band photo (pictured) on the other. Unobtrusive Reckless Records dot-matrix catalog sticker on lyrics side of sleeve, upper corner. This sleeve has a split seam.

Record purchased approximately 14 years ago used from Reckless Records on Broadway in Chicago and in my collection ever since, stored appropriately and played only a handful of times since purchase. Reckless graded the LP Good then.

Fair Plus, perhaps? (Not that it matters, but the spot wasn't mine.)
