Box Condition – GOOD+ – The box set overall is in good condition. It seems to have gotten wet at some point and you can see evidence of this on the back. If you have a look at the pictures you can see what I mean, some white spots. These do look like specs where the ink has came off, though some might be able to be cleaned off and might brighten up the box. As it got wet, the back of the box has a slight warp which could possibly be fixed by weighing it down for a while to attempt to straighten it out. Over all the box isn't too bad, some some normal signs of handling/storage but it is a nice example. The water damage seems to be the only issue, which again isn't too bad but I want to grade fairly and describe any issues.
Sleeve Condition – VERY GOOD - The record sleeves themselves all seem to be in great condition apart from one. "World Painted Blood" was obvoiusly the record that was against the back of the box when it got wet. There is some water damage to this sleeve as a result and the sleeve seems to be warped a little because of it. Again, this could possibly be fixed with weighing the sleeve down in the hope that is straighens out. You can feel a texture difference on the front of this sleeve where it was wet. The printed insert also has gotten wet. Just as a side note, the "World Painted Blood" record itself seems untouched compared to the sleeve, and looks in top condition... pretty much unplayed condition! The other sleeves are in great condition... very little evidence of handling and my guess is that they weren't taken out of the box too often. They all seem to have their printed inserts present too. I could easily grade the sleeves higher as a whole if it weren't for that one album.
Record Condition – NEAR MINT – The records themselves all look to be in top condition! Looking at them, you would nearly say they look brand new! I struggle to find evidence of use on them! I'd guess this set was bought by a collector who might have played one or two albums once, if at all! The asthetic issues on the box and that one sleeve is why I'm starting the bidding low in comparison to what these can fetch!
