Sleater-Kinney's return to the fray was met with hosannas aplenty from their sizeable fanbase and beyond, and no small wonder, for no band has managed to rock in quite the angular, incendiary fashion that this trio managed, or imbue their fiercely kinetic art with feminism and thought-provoking critique to such life-affirming effect.
