SLIM HARPO - SINGS RAININ' IN MY HEART LP USA 2ND ISSUE MONO/STEREO ARROW DESIGN LABEL1968.
Really nice copy of this Slim Harpo classic album, this is a early 1968 2nd issue with the arrow design labels which is housed in a superb condition cover, see pics... it's rare to find a copy in the UK.
The Vinyl: Graded VG+ / Excellent and is very clean, it also has the Sheldon stamp. There is a small pressing indent on one track (see last photo), which can be heard for approx 8-10 rotations but does not distract from the music otherwise playback is superb and clear. This is the 2nd copy I have had, both from different sellers in the USA and both had the same indentation which is very small but I have to mention it. This is a fantastic LP and plays really nice, the buyer will be very happy with it.
The Cover: Beautiful original USA design cover looks amazing, there are no split seams, writing or damage, just a small ding to the bottom opening edge. Solid clean sleeve both front and back, see pics
The Inner: Plain inner sleeve.
This a blues classic, one of the very best and it really should be in every blues / R&B collection. If you cant get a first issue this may well be your best option and avoid a blues hangover.
