Description
One of the most interesting voices in the early reggae scene, sweet and fragile at times, occasionally sounding unsure of himself and at other times full of soul & self confidence, never quite consistent enough to be a crossover start like Dekker or Marley, but one of the great leads of the rocksteady era without doubt. Side two in particular is a joy, great selection.
This UK PAMA LP is gettable, but fairly obscure - pre-internet you could have gone half your life looking for something like this, and the few copies available online shouldn't give the impression this isn't rare, 'cause it is. Nice copy at a good price relfecting the light signs of use: LP has light background crackles but plays well no jumps, music comes through strong, occasional tick - has been properly cleaned.
