Description

SLIM WILLIS BAND -- I Sayed That / Wine Me Up Baby -- hard to find, original late 1960's (?) U.S. 45 single.  Truly insane, organ-fueled, echo-drenched Funk- Soul - R&B monsterpiece here on the B-side "Wine Me Up Baby" -- unlike anything else I've ever heard except maybe Andre Williams' titanic "Silky" album.  Sound is so raw and primitive it's almost Garage - Funk.  Not kidding you -- this is mindblowing stuff.  A-side "I Sayed That" is equally primitive Northern Soul - R&B stomper with more deranged organ, just as great.  In generic company sleeve.  Record:  VG overall, damage to both sides of label but thankfully vinyl itself is excellent, VG++/VG+++, very light wear on B-side; on Reginald label, U.S. press.
