One of the most influential Beat/Mod Albums of the 1960's and in fantastic audio condition.
This was the first Small Faces Album. Pressed in 1966, is a seminal piece of British music history. All the Mods soon picked up on this Great Album, cleverly the Small Faces put the 2 hit singles as the last tracks on both sides, hence you have to listern the other 5 tracks before the single track.
On playing the sound comes through bright and not distorted, NO CLICKS or POPS, how this copy has stayed in this condition is beyond me. I even played YOU NEED LOVING, on my RADIO show on LINK FM 92.2 Saturday 5-7 p.m. ( Check it out on line ) I only play VINYL!. I played this track because of JIMMY PAGE'S pladgalistic use of the Track, on LED ZEPPELIN 2's Whole lotta love.
The vinyl is SHINEY and BRIGHT with little signs of being played. If you look at the photographs you will see some spindle marks, due to the type of long spindles it only takes 3 or 4 plays to leave these marks. The COVER as you can see from the photo's some laminate marks by Kenny Jones left side. 3 small finger nail mark about 1 and half inches long. The spine is sharp all words and lettering visable and undamaged looks GREAT! The BACK is TRULY Nr MINT NO STAINING or RING WARE . There is an Origial Sticker SELMAN'S FOR RECORDS 245 barking Rd E13 this has been on from new and only adds to the time and age of the record. The MATRIX numbers are on Side 1. - XARL-7217-4A and on Side 2. - XARL-7218-3A THE VINYL IS EXCELLENT + THE COVER NEAR MINT. PLAYS NEAR MINT. The inner is ORIGINAL and also mint.
I will have to say, knowing how hard it is to find a copy of THE SMALL FACES in this CONDITION you would PROBERBLY HAVE TO ASK CARLSBURG IF THEY HAVE ONE!
