Comments:                Extremely RARE LP to locate in pristine condition! A similar copy in NrMT condition recently sold on January 4th for $202.50 with 10 bids (item #161535154740), another copy on January 12th  for $153.50 with 24 bids (item #2517823742600), still another on January 6th in VG+ condition for $100 (item #371190554564). The starting bid for this NrMT copy is much, much less!

COVER:                    Strong NrMT

Comments:                Pristine, customized “round” gatefold style cover displays bright vivid colors with absolutely No surface or ring wear, which is extremely rare for this particular cover. There are No marks or writing, No tears, No cut out marks, discount holes or bar codes, and absolutely No separation of the fragile seams for the 4-panel fold open insert photos! Light, barely noticeable edge wear in the 10 o’clock position of the front cover (see photograph) is the only minor flaw and mentioned for accuracy. The album still has the original outer, relatively thick plastic bag with button-snap (top snap missing) used by the company for this release instead of shrink, and is usually missing in most offering of this scarce LP! The thick plastic bag did its job through the years protecting the album, as this is one of the cleanest covers for this particular release that you can ever expect to locate - a condition rarity!!

VINYL:                      NrMT- or better

Comments:                Super clean “thick” vinyl LP retains its original gloss with just a few minor rubs and insignificant faint hairlines (No scratches) seen under bright light from sliding in and out of the original plastic inner sleeve which absolutely do Not affect play. The album has been play tested and plays beautifully throughout the entire recording with outstanding, bold fidelity one would expect from an early “thick” vinyl pressing.

INNER SLEEVE:    Original and correct “plastic” inner sleeve used by the company during the time of release of this LP.

Comments:                “First” pressing copies of “The Small Faces” second American release are extremely difficult to locate with super clean vinyl and a pristine cover without any ring wear, and the original plastic outer cover still present! LP features several classic early Small Faces songs including “Afterglow”, “Rene”, “Song of a Baker”, “Mad John”, and “Lazy Sunday”!

I am very conservative with my grading.  There is NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE for multiple LPs won in the same auction cycle.  Payment is due within 72 hours of the end of the auction.  e-mail if you have any questions prior to placing a bid.  All of my LPs come with a protective poly album sleeve and will be shipped in a sturdy cardboard LP mailer, tightly wrapped in bubble wrap for added protection.
