Description

A great opportunity to buy a RARE VINYL LP from the 60's by Small Faces called "Small Faces".

This is an ORIGINAL U.K. pressing released in 1966 on the Decca label (LK 4790). It has a total of 12 tracks (see photos for track listings).

The matrix numbers are:- XARL-7217-4A (side 1) and XARL-7218-3A (side 2).

The vinyl is in a clean VERY GOOD condition. I always examine and grade records under a bright table lamp and there are many surface marks noticeable, but no deep scratches. I have played the whole of both sides and there is some minor surface noise evident between the tracks, otherwise it plays fine, doesn't jump or stick and sounds great.

The labels are clean and free from any writing, marks or major defects.

The record is perfectly flat and has no warps of any description.

The record is housed within an original mid-60's Decca poly-lined inner sleeve in an EXCELLENT condition, with just some minor creasing at the corners. 

The laminated picture cover is I'm afraid only in a POOR condition and has not been cared for very well at all. The front has a tear in the top corner and in places along the opening edge, whilst the back is grubby and has a tear across half of the cover and along the opening edge (see photos). No doubt the winning bidder could repair most of the damage if they so wish, but I will leave it in its current condition.

Overall despite the poor quality of the cover, I am sure this item will be of great interest to collectors, if only to possibly upgrade their copy of this rare vinyl, or to obtain for the first time a great example of the 60's Mod Sounds of the Small Faces.
