Description
Just recently I bought a massive collection of 60's and 70's LPs...some are in surprisingly immaculate condition, and some are not, but the original owner (a well-respected Australian vinyl hoarder) was a fastidious collector of the styles he loved - British invasion well-knowns [Beatles/Hollies/Dave Clark 5/Gerry & The Pacemakers/Zombies/Troggs/etc..], 70's West Coast sounds, pop-psych and he'd obviously forraged far and wide since there's a flurry of unique South American, New Zealand, South African, Japanese releases amongst them all
Here then, is one of the LPs from his collection:
ARTIST: The SMALL FACES -
TITLE: "THERE ARE BUT FOUR SMALL FACES" .
FORMAT: …vinyl LP…
LABEL: IMMEDIATE .
CATALOGUE #: Z12 52002 .
DATE OF RELEASE: 1967 .
PRESSED IN: USA .
CONDITION:
COVER: ( EX)...the shrinkwrap, after opening, is still in place (has receded about an inch from the opening edges over time)...and there's a minor bit of ringwear beneath the shrink on the back cover...but apart from that and the very lip of the back cover opening edge, the other 95% of the cover is immaculate!...There are absolutely NO deletion marks/holes/cuts, or the like!
RECORD: ( M-)...the vinyl almost looks like it has NEVER BEEN PLAYED...but there are a couple of spindle marks on the labels so we know it has...the vinyl has that beautiful factory-fresh shine you wish all your records had...my guess is, you will LOVE how pristine this is...
LABELS: (Side One: M- / Side Two: M- )...if not for the very mild spindle markings which you can only see when you hold the record on an angle in the light, I'd be calling them MINT...so close to pristine!...
If you have any concerns about the accuracy of my gradings, please check my feedback for the odd nice comment from some satisfied folk out there.... (and hopefully you may be able to join their ranks). Thanks for considering this item...Cheers, Jules.
