Description

TITLE :     SMALL FACES - ogdens nut gone flake   LP
LABEL / CAT # :   IMMEDIATE  / # IMLP012 1L/2L
COUNTRY / YEAR OF RELEASE :   UK   /  1968
DESCRIPTION :   Groundbreaking pop-psych masterpiece from 60s MOD legends, the SMALL FACES!
As far as I'm aware, this is a rare MONO 1st (or very early) pressing with 'lilac/grey' labels and
is complete with beautiful 5-panel fold-out circular sleeve (see attached photos).
The '1lb-box' image part of the cover has 'UK patent application no. 21639/68' which would lead me to believe this is an early press
(as later pressings had a different, or extra number printed?)
On one side of the label is printed statement: 'For amazing results this record should be played at full volume'!! Great advice!!

I've included the first half of 'afterglow of your love' (recorded from the actual album for sale)
TRACKLISTING:     A-Side:   ogdens nut gone flake / afterglow / long agos and worlds apart / rene / song of a baker / lazy sunday
B-Side:  happiness stan - rollin' over - the hungry intruder - the journey - mad john - happydaystoytown
CONDITION :    **Please Read Carefully Before Bidding**
Vinyl:  Visually, it would rate about VG+, with only a few light marks, light scuffs & minor hairlines. Unfortunately it plays with a little surface noise
(more noticeable on 'happiness stan' side) possibly caused by damp storage in the plastic sleeve? so I've downgraded a little to VG/VG- for A-side and G/G- for B-side. Could benefit having a professional clean, but it still plays through fine  - listen above)
In fold-out CIRCULAR picture sleeve:  VG-/G (obvious signs of a bit of damp wear to left hand side, starting to deteriorate
(not affecting joins, which are all still attached). Original plastic Inner-sleeve is included but I wouldn't recommend using it,
so I'll also include a new inner sleeve to re-house the record. (see attached images)
