Description
Up for auction is a very rare US double Lp vinyl pressing of THE SMASHING PUMPKINS' album ‘MACHINA I the machines of God' released in 2000 on VIRGIN Records America/Caroline Records. Billy Corgan has personally authorized and overseen the elaborate design of this double LP vinyl edition that replicates the style of a finely bound antique book. The deluxe gatefold sleeve encloses a lavish, full color 12" x 12" 20 page booklet, 4 pages of which have been crafted from translucent vellum. This remarkable presentation of this SMASHING PUMPKINS classic is certain to attract fans and collectors alike as there has simply never been a package ever like it. The album features the following songs:
Side 1: 1. The Everlasting Gaze 2. Rain Drops + Sun Showers 3. Stand Inside Your Love 4. I Of The Mourning
Side 2: 1. The Sacred and Profane 2. Try, Try, Try 3. Heavy Metal Machine 4. This Time 5. The Imploding Voice
Side 3: 1. Glass And The Ghost Children 2. Wound 3. The Crying Tree of Mercury
Side 4: 1. Speed Kills 2. Age of Innocence 3. With Every Light 4. Blue Skies Bring Tears
The extravagant gatefold SLEEVE is in EXCELLENT++ condition, i.e. NO unwanted writing, NO seam splitting, NO bumped corners! There's only two faint nicks to the spine that prevent me from a NEAR MINT grading! Otherwise the deluxe SLEEVE with its' 20 page booklet is in PERFECT condition!
All four sides of the two vinyl RECORDS are in MINT condition - shiny & clean as on the day they were purchased!
The album will be mailed to the lucky winner in a stiff record mailer with extra cardboard stiffeners for best possible protection!
