SMASHING PUMPKINS - MELLON COLLIE AND THE INFINITE SADNESS
RARE 1996 ORIGINAL UK 1st PRESS TRIPLE BLACK VINYL LP - PROMO COPY!!!
OFFICIAL LP GATEFOLD COVER (NUMBERED VERSION IN WHITE BOX) WITH 12-PAGE LYRICS BOOK!
INCLUDING 2x BONUS TRACKS IN TH?S VINYL LP RELEASE!!
LABEL: HUT RECORDS
No: 3240 ?n white box, on the bottom right corner
This is an original 1996 UK pressing from the first run of 5000 numbered copies and it's a PROMOTIONAL COPY! I was lucky enough to get two of these at the time it was released so this copy is 100% unplayed and brand new. The vinyl pressing has a different running order than the CDs and also includes 2 extra songs - "Tonight Reprise" and "Infinite Sadness". This is an incredibly rare record in TOP condition!!
There is a small sticker over the barcode that states "PROMOTIONAL COPY NOT FOR SALE." The number 3240 is on the bottom right where it should be, inside the white box on the front cover that was left blank on later pressings. This didn't come sealed so there is no shrinkwrap. Usually these original covers turn up with a lot of ringwear and creasing, but this one is nearly flawless.
CONDITION:
Vinyls : Unplayed Mint!!!
Cover : EX+ to NM
No ringwear (I've stored the records outside the sleeve ever since I received it) and no creasing other than a little split (but well-replaced) at the top edge. There is also what appears to be a slight printing error - a horizontal line about a third of the way up. It is on the front and back, but not on the inside of the gatefold. The copy I'm keeping for my personal collection (#3250) has the same error. Please see the picture.
