Smiley Lewis on IMPERIAL LP 9141 "I Hear You Knocking". Original 1961 pressing!! This LP comes from my father’s private collection and has been properly stored in an LP protective sleeve for decades. My father kept all his records in a temperature controlled environment. The record grading is VG++, there isn’t even a mark around the spindle hole! The cover has full color, like new spine and no seam splits or tape. I graded it graded VG+ due to a crease lower right visible in pictures. There is very minor storage wear marks in the form of plastic sleeve covered LP’s being kept in a box next to each other, highlighted in pictures as well. A beautiful, original ‘61 DG. (Note: I now play each record for extremely accurate grading. Equipment is an Audio Technics LP AT-120x USB BT with upgraded styli (VMN 95 ML and VMN 95 SP) for each type of record.

NM : Near perfect, no visible signs of handling. Highly desirable and very hard to find.

M- : A visual imperfection very, very and inaudible. Plays and looks near new, extremely desirable condition.

VG++ (or EX which eBay doesn’t have for 45’s) May have an inaudible scuff or two and/or mild ring wear. No scratches, plays very well without skips. Very collectable record.

VG+ : The record will display some scuffing and/or label wear. Still plays very well without noise or skips. A collectible record.

VG : Scuffs all around and/or excessive label wear or tear. Possible scratch or dnap but plays well all the way through w/o skips. Good player record.

VG- : A few marks of which can be felt by touch and/or heavy DNAP and/or heavy label wear/tear, hiss and pops but still plays w/o skips!
