"Smiths Gully Band, About Time (Anthology Records). Few bush bands would dare to kick off their recording career without throwing in a handful of well-worn pub favourites. But the Smiths Gully Band have and have come up with, a refreshing blend of traditional songs and dances as well as several compositions of their own. One of the highlights of the album belongs to neither category - Lonegan's Widow, a gentle lament about one of Ned Kelly's victims, written by American Shel Silverstein. Occasionally freshness lapses into slight clumsiness, but the album is (to borrow the title of the last track) a Welcome Stranger for folk music enthusiasts." Andrew Bolt - The Age, Aug 21, 1981 
CONDITION
The album sleeve is in very good condition with some minor wear to the corners and edges. The top of the sleeve has come apart slightly. The record is in good condition with some light to medium marks on both sides. The disc still retains its original shine. Also includes the original album insert.
