Smokey and His Sister were a psychedelic/folk duo in the 1960's. Smokey (presumably his sister as well) came from Cincinnati, OH. He met Bob Dylan after a concert there in 1965 and decided to become a folk singer (at least according to the Fuzz, Acid & Flowers book). In 1966 he and his sister Viki moved to Greenwich Village, which a year or two earlier would have been the place to be (the fact that at least 2 of the songs on this album are about how much cooler it is on the West Coast bear this out). They had a single and then this one lp which came out on Warner Brothers--it features some nice orchestral arrangements and Smokey & Sis harmonizing--sweet stuff overall.

Original 1967 pressing on Warner Bros. Records. Not a re-issue, No barcode. This LP is STILL SEALED in it's original shrinkwrap. This is on the original green W7 label. There are no cut-outs or punch holes in cover. There is a staple through the cover, in the upper left corner. The corners have minor bumps and wear. The shrink is tight, but has a large section of the shrink missing (top right corner), from presumably a price sticker removal.  There is also heavy rolling along the top spine and just a hint of some ringwear on the front. The "white" back cover has no yellowing. This sought-after LP is hard enough to find....let alone a SEALED copy!!! Don't pass up this rare opportunity. LP is in excellent condition.
