We’ve got a long way to go, and a short time to get there……This vinyl LP of the 1977 soundtrack for Smokey and the Bandit is a must-have for fans of the iconic film and its classic country sound. Featuring the music of Bill Justis, and the much underrated guitarist, vocalist, and actor Jerry Reed. It also includes some fun incidental CB dialogue from the movie interspersed between some tracks of the LP. This first edition record on MCA label has a record grading of Very Good Plus (VG+) and a sleeve grading of Very Good Plus (VG+) as well. There is typical age wear to the cover with some very slight damage like one small nick to the spine and one corner dinged. The cover actually looks better (much whiter) than the photos would suggest due to the fact I was trying to take pictures without any reflective glare. The 12" vinyl is in excellent condition with pristine sound, and the original cover is a great addition to any collection especially for the depictions of Burt Reynolds, Sally Field and Jackie Gleason.
This RARE LP from 1977 is a great find for collectors and fans alike, and is sure to bring back memories of the beloved film.
