Description
Here's AL JOLSON as you've never heard him - as a young (age 26), hot-as-a-pistol rising Broadway star in 1912. His impassioned and urgent delivery of "SNAP YOUR FINGERS" will astonish you, maybe make you reach for the digitalis!
The flip side is COLLINS AND HARLAN, crooning Irving Berlin's "I WANT TO BE IN DIXIE." Laurel and Hardy fans will fondly remember this tune, coming as it does at the very end of "Way Out West."
THIS original 1912 "Patents" Victor 17075 is in sturdy E- condition; only a little frosting on the peaks of Jolson's mighty delivery. The label is mysteriously faded, but the record otherwise is reasonably intact.
I'm completely baffled at having to list this item repeatedly! These early Al Jolson Victors do not turn up often, and last time I checked, were in great demand by collectors. Take my word: This is a MAJOR Jolson rarity!
