SOCIAL DISTORTION - 1945 EP 2nd Pressing. 1985. 13th Story Records. Hardcore Punk Rare. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Media Mail.
This is the second pressing of this record from 1985. It is the first pressing in a 12" format. There is another 12" pressing on Triple X records but this version predates it.
The record has quite a few scratches visible on it's surface. They mostly look light but with this many there are bound to be a couple more significant ones. Still not likely anything bad enough to cause a skip, but there may be some pops and clicks and some surface noise on this record. I'm gonna rate it G+ to be safe, but it likely sounds closer to VG, just judging by how light the majority of the scratches look. G+
No insert was included with this release. Only a standard, white dust sleeve, which is a bit beat up and has a couple small rips.
The cover has some very light ring wear, just barely visible at the middle top and bottom of back and front. A couple corners have slight bends and a small number of veins. The spine edge has moderate wear and a portion of the title text has begun to wear off. Most of the titles are still intact, however. There is a one inch section of that edge where the varnished outer paper of the cover has worn away and the raw cardboard beneath is exposed. Its pretty minor as far as spine damage goes. The Shelf edge has severe wear and that entire edge is raw exposed under-cardboard. The top edge has moderate wear leaning towards light. Overall this cover still looks really good from front and back. It's only the edges that have some significant type wear. Regardless of that it still rates VG because of it's overall decent appearance. VG
Grades that I use are G-, G, G+, G++, G+++, VG, VG+, VG++, VG+++/EX, NM. I won't be describing anything as M or MINT unless it is unopened and the packaging is completely unblemished. Records that have never been played but HAVE been opened, will be described as Near Mint or NM. These are the adjectives that I use when describing damage: Very Light < Light < Moderate < Severe < Catastrophic. To describe damage in between those ranks I say things like: "Moderate leaning towards Severe," "Moderate leaning towards light," or "In between Light and Moderate"...just for example.
