Description

Social Distortion- Sex, Love & Rock N Roll NEW / Sealed Vinyl Record / RARE/ OUT OF PRINT You are bidding on a RARE vinyl punk rock record. Classic Social Distortion with Mike Ness. This record has some great tunes on it and has NEVER been opened!  When this was released it was stated the vinyl was colored or even clear; since I have never opened it, I can’t verify 100% but all of the others I have seen were so I would assume this one would be as well.
This album does not have the sticker on the shrink wrap you see on some that are on the front cover for whatever reason- I have had this album for a long time so I don't know if the sticker was removed and it was re-shrunk prior to me buying or just never got a sticker on the shrink once printed.  But I never opened it even though I was tempted several times.
BAR CODE- 7 0930-43547-2 9 Social Distortion is one of those bands that have been around a long time and continue to release great music. This album did not disappoint.
The Jacket/ Sleeve still have the plastic around it and is in mint condition.
If you follow or like Social D, you need this one in your collection. Or if you have a Social D lover, this would make a great gift.
Don’t miss out on this one- you will not regret getting this one in your collection.

FROM DISCOGS
This grouping gathers together all versions of the "Sex, Love and Rock 'N' Roll" album, originally released in 2004.

"Sex, Love and Rock 'n' Roll" is the sixth album by American punk rock band Social Distortion. It is their first studio album in eight years, since the release of "White Light, White Heat, White Trash" in 1996, the longest gap between Social Distortion's studio albums to date. The album was originally scheduled to be released in the fall of 2000, but was not yet completed, and it was officially released on September 28, 2004. A great deal of the album is a musical eulogy to former guitarist Dennis Danell, who died in 2000. The album's opening track, "Reach for the Sky", was released in late 2004 and became one of Social Distortion's biggest hits.

Social Distortion could not release a follow-up to "White Light, White Heat, White Trash" partly because of their various other activities, most obviously those of frontman Mike Ness. He released two solo albums in 1999, one with original material ("Cheating at Solitaire") and one with song covers ("Under the Influences"). Due to his touring schedule with the band, "Sex, Love and Rock 'n' Roll" was set aside for a number of years before finally being completed in 2004.

The song "Nickels and Dimes" is a play on hardcore punk band Minutemen masterpiece album "Double Nickels on the Dime".
