This record is in excellent+ condition. It has no obvious spindle marks visible on the labels but when I examined it under bright light there is a few visible on each side. Neither side has pen marks, scuffs or fading and the centres are not loose or worn. Overall the labels are in great shape with nothing remotely serious to report.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are really clean overall and have little visible in normal light. There is two very thin, very light lines just about showing on side 1 but these are very minor indeed and overall the vinyl is in superb condition. There are very light wispy hairlines and incredibly light sleeve scuffs showing under bright light, but nothing sinister or deep. So overall a very clean record with no nasty scuffs, marks or blemishes and a lovely vivid gloss.
I play tested the record and it played really well with no major issues and only very light surface noise audible in the really quiet parts. It lays flat, there is little to no movement in the record arm and the audio produced is excellent and free of any major issues such as skips, sticks or disruptive clicks. There is actually very little interference at all with the vast majority of the lp playing great as I say but there is hint of minor surface noise in the run in and a minor amount in the very quiet second track on side 1 and really quiet fist track on side 2. The vast majority of the audio is superb however and any audio with any real volume is crisp, defined and has a clear sound which is free of any major issues or serious interference. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed the whole play test which flew by with no major issues to report and with very nice audio indeed, bar some light surface noise in the tracks mentioned.
The gatefold sleeve is in very good+ condition. It has some wear to the edges and corners, and although just about legible the writing along the spine is not easy to read. There are no splits anywhere and no weak areas where one may develop and no tears or scuffs. There is however a large pen mark on the front in the top left corner(pics). Other than the edge wear and the pen mark there is nothing serious to report with no major ring marks or problems with creasing. There is some age related grubbiness throughout but this is mild and overall the sleeve is strong, clean and bright but with the issues as mentioned. I have tried to describe its issues as best I can but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible to its condition.
It contains its original CBS inner which is in very good condition. This has no tears but does have some some creasing, staining and a small split on the bottom edge that has been taped. There is also a pen mark in the top left corner of one side.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
