Visual strong VG+ vinyl with some light scratches each side - some underlying low even surface noise throughout, clean labels. Cover with minor stains, slight ring top bottom back/front 2" splits in top/bottom opening side spine, plus a small wear divot in spine top left side. Small press 11 piece Houston based Horn heavy Soul/Funk group with Prichard, Alabama contact address due to two cover featured players hailing from that area. A very playable copy of a hard to get album. Recent CD release is taken from vinyl as no master tapes have been located.
On May-17-11 at 16:44:50 PDT, seller added the following information:description revision 05/17 - I decided to use a Nitty Gritty cleaning machine on this album - it has substantially reduced the 'low even surface noise' by a good 50% or more by a headphone test, a quite significant improvement - it is now indeed VERY playable!!!
