SOLSTAFIR - Berdreyminn DLP (Silver Vinyl limited 300 copies)
SOLSTAFIR from Reykjavík have been on the road since 1995 and had made their first steps under the German banner of Ars Metalli.
That´s long time ago, but after the absolutely grandiose output ''Otta'', the next SOLSTAFIR album will be released now with ''Berdreyminn''. It will feature 8 songs of Icelandic Heathen Rock Metal in 57 minutes. Since their breakthrough album ''Köld'' in 2009, the band has become the Icelandic export hit.
Whenever the quartet releases a new album, from the psychedelic rock listener to the black metalist almost all lovers of eccentric guitar music begin hyperventilating.
With their meanwhile 6th album, SOLSTAFIR take a tightrope walk between the preservation of their trademarks & a drastic reduction of the degree of hardness. Somehow typical SOLSTAFIR, albeit noticeably gentler & less rocking.
So ''Berdreyminn'' is also relevant for people, who is actually Metal too hard music & they can be captivated by the band's unique sound.
Silver Double Vinyl Edition is limited to 300 copies only, comes with printed inner sleeves included lyrics, bandphoto & artwork, packed in a nice gatefold Jacket
