Description
Offered is an almost never seen issue of "Songs, Pictures And Stories Of The Fabulous Beatles". This one of a kind gate fold album is a special Promo issue that was obtainable only at the historic Beatles concert at Public Auditorium, Cleveland Ohio on September 15, 1964. These LP's were handed out to the roughly 13,000 lucky concert-goers that night in Cleveland. (Or maybe not so lucky. The concert was halted by the Cleveland police after just one half hour due to "extreme rowdiness".)
The album comes complete with the incredibly rare sticker affixed to the front cover which states "SOUVENIR OF THEIR APPEARANCE AT PUBLIC AUDITORIUM, CLEVELAND-SEPT.15, 1964".
This album is the 2/3 gate fold issue on the Vee-Jay label, VJLP-1062 (on labels), 1092 ( on cover). See pics.
This amazing Beatles collectible will not be available again for a very long time, if ever.
Record Plays: VG+ / VG++.
Labels: VG++.
Cover: VG-, with wear to spine. There is a small tear on the sticker near the end of the first word "Souvenir".
