Description

My eBay name is 'punky_music' and I'm a full-time record dealer since nearly 30 years

Artist: SONIC YOUTH

Title: Daydream Nation

Label / Catalogue Number: Blast First Records / Mute Records (BFFP 34)

Country: Made In England

Record Format: 2x 12” LP (double album)

Comment: brilliant Gerhard Richter cover artwork. The front and back of the picture sleeve shows the great Gerhard Richter painting ‘Kerze’ (candle) from 1982/1983. This double album includes only winners like ‘Teen Age Riot’ / ‘Total Trash’ / ‘Silver Rocket’ / ‘Rain King’ / ‘Providence’ plus the one and only ‘Candle’. Definitely one of the SONIC YOUTH’s best ever releases. The band includes the great Thurston Moore, former member of Hardcore Punk band EVEN WORSE (one very ‘loud’ single from 1982). About this double album. Thurston, Kim, Lee & Steve took their art to the next level on this classic. Originally released in 1988. This is a later repressing without the poster or printed inner sleeves. I don't know when this brilliant double album was reissued. In lovely condition.

Zustand / Condition: EX/M- (very clean, near mint, sehr gut erhalten)
