Up for auction is a ridiculously rare original pressing of “EXPERIMENTAL JET SET, TRASH AND NO STAR” by New York No Wave rockers, SONIC YOUTH. This is the first and only pressing on BLUE VINYL that was released way back in 1994 on Geffen Records, as DGC 24632. It comes complete with the original printed inner bag with a photograph of Sonic Youth’s musical gear on one side and printed lyrics on the other. You won’t find a better copy anywhere.

The spine of the sleeve reads as follows:
DGC 24632   SONIC YOUTH EXPERIMENTAL JET SET, TRASH AND NO STAR   DGC

The jacket and vinyl are in NEAR MINT condition. The labels and inner bag are in VERY GOOD PLUS condition due to slight spindle wear on the label and a small seam split at the bottom of the inner.

I have been collecting records for more than 20 years, and it’s time to clear out my climate controlled, pet free storage. I use the Goldmine standard of grading. I ship worldwide by USPS Priority Mail International only, because that is the only international service that allows for shipping insurance. My shipping prices are higher because they reflect the mandatory postal insurance and tracking numbers that I provide. I will not be held responsible for any items lost or damaged during shipping; and you may rest assured that I pack every record that I ship as I would like to receive it, in a dedicated record mailer with additional cardboard stiffeners and, if necessary, bubble wrap. Although I’ve never had anything that I sent out get lost in transit, I’ll gladly help the winner to file an insurance claim in the unlikely event of loss or damage.
