Description

Up for auction is a super rare, original pressing of the Sonic Youth album "Sister" released on SST Records (SST 134) in 1987.  Includes first issue, censored and withdrawn cover with Disney and Richard Avedon images, along with original insert with lyrics and liner notes.  No UPC/Barcode.  From my personal collection, this record has seen virtually no use or handling--and it shows.  Condition of cover is Near Mint Minus(NM-) with a tiny bumped corner in upper right (and I mean tiny), along with some faint creasing in lower left and upper right (it was this way when I bought it new in 1987).  The Insert is in perfect shape, no discoloration, creasing, or tears.  The vinyl is in beautiful condition with no obvious marks or scuffs--and no marks around spindle holes.  Looks as if it's never been played.  Still has static cling when LP is pulled out of inner sleeve.  Superb condition.  Grade the vinyl Near Mint (NM).  Overall, a much sought-after Indie Rock Classic in highly collectible condition.
