Description
This is the original mono 1st pressing on Etiquette records from Tacoma, WA.
The sleeve has minor wear on front and back typical of its age, the center spine is opening up and the bottom edge has about 3" in the center where it is starting to split. There's also a name written on the back in the bottom right corner about 1/4"x1 in ballpoint (it's subtle). All in all it still looks really good, I'm not a pro grader but I would guess it's a VG and definitely not trashed.
As for the vinyl, The label is really nice, only flaw is there is a name written on front and back in black ink, it's fairly small 1x1/4" and doesn't distract or go over any of the print.
I would guess the slab would be considered VG but man it plays through so good. This the listening copy you're looking for. Very little crackle and no pops in my listen-through. There's a fair amount of surface wear on top of the grooves but it sounds really cherry & quiet for its age and rarity.
Also this a hot record and extremely rare in this condition! I really enjoyed listening to this after first hearing the CD 25+ years ago, one of the best garage rock records of all time.
