Description

SONNY BOY WILLIAMSON "KEEP IT TO OURSELVES" - ANALOGUE PRODUCTIONS APB 036

One of the greatest bluesmen ever. His harp, vocals, and songwriting have never been surpassed. All his records are classics, but this one is truly unique - it's the cream of two rare, acoustic albums cut in Denmark in 1963. Gentle, personal blues with brilliant harmonica, accompanied by only Matt Guitar Murphy and Memphis Slim on piano. Original LP listed on Stereophile's Record 2 Die 4 list.

Analogue Productions remain one of the leading audiophile vinyl issuers in the US. The lacquer for each AP LP was cut by Stan Ricker using the Wilson Audio Custom Tube Mastering System.  Pressing by RTI in California on 180g vinyl.  This copy is graded here as EX/NM.  The sleeve exhibits just a few minute creases to the corners and spines, but the high gloss sheen on the front cover is as good as new.  The sleeve has been protected by a heavyweight pvc cover.  The LP shows no signs of being played, having been protected by its original anti static LP sleeve.  We've seen new LPs in worse condition!!
